Minister Balkar Singh inaugurates health camp at Sacred Heart hospital

Punjab Local Bodies Minister Balkar Singh on Wednesday inaugurated a free of cost speciality medical camp at the local Sacred Heart Hospital.

Singh later addressing the people, said that the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was taking significant steps to bolster the infrastructure of the government health institutions. He mentioned that to boost primary health care, the government has established 664 Aam Aadmi Clinics and Rs 550 crore Mission Sehatmand Punjab has also been started to modernize secondary healthcare centers. He said that civil hospitals would be upgraded at par with private hospitals to ensure quality treatment. He said that health and education were the main targeted areas for the government and every step was being taken to revamp the facilities.
Later, the Minister also extended his Christmas greetings to all the people and said the festival of Christmas spreads the message of peace, love and brotherhood. He wished that May Lord Jesus Christ bless the people of the state with happiness and success. He also lauded the management of Sacred Heart Hospital for holding the medical camp for the people.
