Jalandhar, August 5: Punjab Government has extended the last date for the farmers to apply for subsidised agriculture machinery through the online portal agrimachinerypb.com till august 15.
Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that farmers who want to get agricultural machinery on subsidy would be able to submit their applications on the online portal till August 15 at 5:00 PM.
He said that the Punjab government would provide subsidy on Paddy Transplanters, PTO , D.S.R Besides drill, oil mill, potato planter (automatic/semi automatic), mini processing plant, tractor operated boom sprayer, nursery seeder.
Rate /percentage of subsidy will be as per the scheme guideline. The farmers of the district may contact the agriculture office regarding subsidized machines on the toll free number 18001801551 of the farmers call center.
He said that the district administration will provide all possible support to the farmers to get agricultural machinery on subsidy and in this regard, the entire agriculture department has been instructed to establish contact with the farmers at the block level for technical assistance to the farmers.
