A curtain raiser press conference was conducted at PAP Complex, Jalandhar in c/w 74th All India Police Athletics Cluster-2025-26 is being held State Armed Police, Headquarters, Jalandhar from 7th to 12th March 2026. Sh. Inderbir Singh, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Admn. PAP-cumOrganizing Secretary, Jalandhar presided this press conference. Addressing to the media he shared the information regarding this cluster that this six-day
sporting extravaganza will feature competitions in Athletics and Cycling, bringing together some of the finest sportspersons from Police forces across the country.
Approximately 1200 athletes and officials representing 29 State Police organizations and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) are expected to participate in this mega sporting event. The championship aims to promote
physical excellence, discipline, camaraderie, and esprit de corps among the Police forces of the nation.
The Athletic events will be conducted on Synthetic track at Sports College, Jalandhar, which include Track and Field events across various categories showcasing speed, endurance, strength, and skill of the athletes.
The Cycling events will be conducted on McDonald to Jamsher road ( Nakodar Bypass), these events will test participants for endurance and road racing discipline and showcasing high levels of fitness and competitive spirit.
The Cluster will be conducted under the aegis of the All India Police Sports Control Board, New Delhi with elaborate arrangements being made at PAP Headquarters to ensure best sporting facilities, comfortable accommodation, security, medical support, and smooth logistics for all
participating teams.
The Event is expected to not only foster healthy competition but also strengthen Inter organization synergy cooperation and national integration through sports. Senior police officers, distinguished guests, and sports enthusiasts are also expected to grace the occasion.
The All India Police Athletics Cluster 25-2026 promises to be a landmark sporting event, reflecting the dedication of India’s Police forces towards excellence in sports alongside their commitment to national service.
